Many clients choose to use a keysafe which can be discreetly located on the outside of your property for care workers to access. A keysafe is accessed by a combination lock. They can be purchased for £20-£30 and installed fairly easily. We can arrange for a keysafe to be fitted for you should you decide on this. Some clients prefer to answer their front door to care workers themselves.
Having someone around through the night can offer peace of mind to know there is someone who can support you in the night if you need it. Waking nights are when the care worker is required to stay awake all night. These are charged at a set hourly rate. We do not currently provide sleepover services.
We aim to gets things set up as soon as you wish us to commence. Sometimes for a larger package it can take a few days to set up. Depending on how easily or quickly we are able to find a care worker from our team who we feel would be a good personality match and has the availability you are looking for. We will work closely with you to commence services at a time to suit you.
We will come and visit you in your home and carry out a free assessment of your needs. There is never any obligation to proceed with our services. Sometimes it’s just good to know what your options are.
We are careful about who we employ. We are looking for the best! As a guide we always ask ourselves the following question when considering staff for employment? “Would I be happy to have this person care for my elderly family members?” All our staff are trained in-house and we encourage them to further their knowledge and skills with additional courses and healthcare qualifications. We also carry out disclosure checks on all new staff and perform reference checks.
Our office is open Mon- Friday 6am – 10pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 8am -4pm 364 days a year. The office closes on Christmas Day. Between the hours of 10pm and 6am we operate an emergency out of hours service which can be accessed by telephone on 01472 347285.
